‘No’ is One of the Best Words to Use

No is one of the best words you can use as an entrepreneur to get stuff done.

Last year, I used "no" all the time. Let me explain with a quick story...



I wanted to finish my book.

In order to get the book done, I said no to everything else in my lawyer consulting business, Law Practice Queen.

I turned down speaking opportunities.

I declined networking events.

I even sunsetted my membership for female lawyers, as much as I loved it.

If I didn't say no to these obligations, I wouldn't have been able to find the time to write my book.

You can't say yes to everything if you want to accomplish big goals.

And I was able to publish my book, Build Your Empire, in March 2022.
